My Lipstick Collection 2014

Hello girls, Today I am going to do a makeup collection post, to be exact, revealing my lipstick collection due to bunch of requests. I know I have over flow lipsticks collection but believe me, I am trying to use them all! remember, I am not trying brag about it but just wanted to share "how do I organise my lipsticks" and at the same time I believe that this could inspire you to do spring cleaning in organising your makeup collection because I do enjoyed reading and watching people do makeup collection post because it does motivates me to organise my makeup collection and go through all of my makeup. All these lipsticks are the ones that I decided to keep and trying to use off.

Warning! this post would be extremely long with plenty of pictures. 

Okay, first of all we would start with the Alex drawer from Ikea. My alex drawer is the 5-level design and most of my lipsticks are in this larger drawer (the third level).  If you are wondering where to get the acrylic lipstick organizer, you can contact me as my sister is selling it at very affordable price. 

PART 1

I arranged and organized all of my lipsticks according to their shapes and brands (just to make them look more attractive and neat) .

I have three L'oreal Shine Caresse lip stains (3colors; Faye, Princess and Venus) , a fabulous product to own and it was in my favorite for couple of months. Yet not anymore because for some reason I feel my lips burned after applying it on and since then I stopped using it. However, it stays quite long on the lips with great pigmentation for a gloss-type of product. 

Etude House Blooming lipstick (3 colors; OR 204, OR 205 & BE 101) I must admit that these Etude House lipsticks are in matte finishes and dry out on lips , so I am not recommending this to you guys but if you are a collector, the packaging is an A ^_^ Etude House is good in making cute packaging.

NYX Matte lipsticks are my top favorite lipsticks. If you haven't read my review, just click this link. The formula, texture, color and price are awesome. Everything is in one shot! This product is absolutely MUST HAVE IN THE PURSE PRODUCT. :) 

Zoom in from the left is Shu uemura Lipstick (PK 339) , a product given by my best friend, Lily. Thanks babe! Rimmel London Kate Moss ( 103) -a beautiful medium pink, MUA fashionista (Atomic Tangerine) - a very creamy  lipstick & affordable too! , Etude House -an old version with no label on it .

Continue with the three twins of Wet and wild lipsticks ( Pinkerbell, Dollhouse pink, Stoplight Red)- very creamy, affordable and pigmented lipstick. It is highly recommended! .  Bioderma lipbalm- which is my favorite lipbalm as it gives me very soft , watery & moisturising lips.If you are going to France, make sure you grab this lip balm as many as you can because its the best lipbalm ever!  Lastly, NYX Round Lipsticks ( Louisiana and NYX) - I used to like this lipstick a lot however I think the scent has changed. I need to get rid of it soon. 

PART 2

Two of the new Maybelline Sensational color  (POW 3 and POW4) - This Pink Alert range is sooooo amazing crazy pigmented! They are my favorite lipsticks too! Go get them once they are up on the shelves! Next products are my favorite Lip Polish (Signature Scarlet 020, Glam 6, Glam 1 and Glam 7)- Damn! I have so many favorite lip products until I didn't realised that I have too many lip products in my collection because I'm using them all.  Maybelline color whisper (orange attitude) - the texture is almost similar to lip butter from Revlon yet it is different in formula and less oily. That's all I can say, nothing much cause the product is not available in Malaysia though. Benefit Coralista is a lip gloss, it is not a lacquer or lipstick yet I love using it whenever I want to do light natural makeup. Applying some lip gloss on the lips creates a very subtle and pleasant look.

On the bottom row, I have the only MAC lip glass (Feelin' so good)  and NYX Butter gloss( Cream Cheese cake) . The rest of my collection is full with NYX Soft lip cream (Stockholm , Istanbul, Addis Ababa , San Paolo, Amsterdam, Monte Carlo) - you can the full review over here. 

PART 3

Most of the lipsticks in this organiser are Mayelline and Revlon. I put them together because of the lipstick shape & size are in the same family. 

Top: Maybelline Color Sensational (Plumtastic, Hooked on Pink, Are-you-reddy , Coral Crush , Peachy scene, Mat 5 & Mat 7)- I have a lot of Maybelline Sensational lipsticks because I love their pigmentation and color. Matte lipsticks are absolutely my favorites because they are last longer and stay on place. Anyhow, I only have 2 bullets from their matte collection. 

Middle: Revlon Lip Butter ( Tutti Fruiti , Lollipop, Peach Parfait ) , Revlon Colorburst ( Fuchsia &Soft nude) , Revlon Super Lustrous ( Smoked Peach, pink in the Afternoon, Kissable Pink, Wine not & ravish me Red)

bottom: Stage Lipstick (Hallowed Heather & Paparazzi Pink)- some of the best lipstick brand and formula I ever have, yet it is already discontinued . Hopefully Stage could bring this line again as the pigmentation, color , texture  formula are completely amazing!.  Maybelline Watershine (P11) -this lipstick has its own sentimental value as it is my very first lipstick I ever owned, used and purchased by my own money. Last but not least is the only Silky girl lipstick I ever owned ( Sunny Rose)- a beautiful coral rosey shade.

if you are asking me , "what shade should I get from the  Maybelline Color sensational permanent line?" I would recommend you to grab: ARE-YOU-REDDY , MAT 7 and CORAL CRUSH.

ARE-YOU-REDDY : a bold red lipstick with blue under-toned to it that makes teeth look whiter.

MAT7: it is a warm nude matte lipstick with a hint of pink. It won't makes your face look pale , after all it is a perfect nude for all complexion. 

CORAL CRUSH: It is a gorgeous neon coral color that would swipes you with confidence. 

PART 4

 This part is totally jumbo up products. 

Three random depot-ted lip colors. Pure Rose MAC, NYX Spellbound and Too cool for school orange lip pencil. I don't know about you but I have this diesease where I can't throw something that I loved and wanted to keep it forever eventhough if I am not using it for my entire life. weird though? Urghhh. One day I need to learn to let something go. ( Sing: Let it go) 

Incomplete Inglot lipcolors-  white and true purple lip colors. 

Another Inglot round pans lip colors that I got from the clearance sale.

A bunch of lip glosses and I keeping the ones that I am still using it.  Even though I am not a big fan of it, anyhow I still using it depending on my mood because they help to give illusion of fuller lips.

Lip tints, Mini Posie tint and cha cha tint from Benefit and Peri Pera tint (red). 

I always use them whenever I need a light makeup look or just to spice up my morning lips color. 

PART 5

Now we are coming to my lip balm collection! who is up for this? woot woot! 

My Maybelline baby lips collection. My favorites are: Anti -Oxidant Berry, Dr Rescue, Pink Lolita and Methol.

Mixing brands Mylipsuff lipbalms, Burt's Bee, Maybelline and Lip Smacker.

Etude House Bee Happy Lip balm,- I got it in couple of years ago , doesn't sure whether the product is still available in the market or other way round. Anyhow, it is a great product except for the packaging wise. I found it is a bit difficult and slippery to open the tin. 

The Hershey lip balm- It does tastes like chocolate yet I have problem for not liking it. I am not sure why, but I have tried it for several times and my answer is still the same. I want to throw it away but  I love the packaging, it is so adorable.

ACRYLIC DRAWER

PART 6 

 Sexy Smexy chubby and slim lip pencils.

From left: Revlon Matte balm (Standout & Showy) -It is a very pigmented product , Rimmel 1000 kisses tint (endless blossom & unstoppable red) , Makeup Forever Aqua Rouge (#18) - it is very pigmented and waterproof yet the product is like an ink, we would feel like a layer of ink on our lips. Too Faced (Bee Sting) - I don't like this product, planning to get rid of it but feel guilty cause I only used it once.  Too Cool for School (orange) , Etude House Neon Tint - a great lip tint for those doesn't like makeup. This tint gives you a very light color onto your lips and makes you look pretty like a korean girl. okbye! haha

Bottom: Nars (Lodhi)- A nice creamy lip color  but nay for the price. MUA (Justify) - this pencil is similar to revlon balm in a way of scent, texture , and moisturising finish, everything is the same. 

I have threw some of the lip pencils that already expired and just left the ones that I'm still using. NYX lip pencils (Rose, Orange, Hot Pink , Grape fruit & Nude) are my favorites because they're long-lasting, highly pigmented, affordable with wide of color selection. Essence lip liner (honey bun) is also not bad, the price is cheap yet the product is very creamy and pigmented! However, the color selection is very limited. MUA lip liner ( Red Drama)  is the best-seller color in their line and it never disappoint me.Jordana lip pencil (Baby Berry & Plush Plum) Oh My God, this stuff is really amazing, it is very pigmented, no funny smell and the price is a win. However, this brand is only can be found online at Colorcosmeticsmalaysia or any instagram online shops. I am gonna do a review on these lipliners. 

PART 7

The second acrylic drawer is full of my high end lipsticks. I do owned many of MAC lipsticks because of the formulation and quality. I love my YSL lipstick but I think it is over-priced and too expensive for me to spend hundreds of ringgit for a tube of lipstick. Anyhow, the quality is amazing , pigmentation is fantastic and the attractive packaging is DA bomb dot com! Another high end lipstick brand that I have is a Dior Rouge lipstick. Maybelline Lip Polish Glam 2 and 7 Review

Salam and Hi!

Today it's time for me to do a review on these two awesome babies from Maybelline. Lip Polish is a new product line from Maybelline, just reached in Malaysia about few weeks. Well, I entered Watsons for so many times and keep swatching them on back of my hand. Guess what?! For the entire day window shopping at the mall, the lipgloss stain was still there. Keep reading if you want to know further on my thoughts. ^^

Maybelline Lip Polish is fall under the spell of elixir effect with hyper-saturated color and ultra cushion-y feel (as described in their official website), it creates the NEW HYPNOTIC LIP SENSATION.

The formula has three main highlights which contains Potent Color Extracts for high color pigments and deep intense lip color ( in Maybelline website, this product is not under "lipgloss", it is lip color ). Next highlight is Concentrated liquid lipbalm gives high hydration to the lips and allows cushion-y feel and comfort. Basically, it's moisturising. The third highlight will be the "Glossy Shine Serum" that makes lips look glossy, fuller, sexier and healthier lips. So basically, the concept for this product is combination between lipgloss and lip balm. 

Personally I feel the texture is a bit "heavy" nothing too light or not too heavy, just in moderate, in  between heavy and light yet it glides smoothly on the lips with silky buttery formula. No sticky feeling and it does smoothen my cracked lips (hide all the visible lines on lips ). Yes, for chapped lips, this would be a great "secret tool" to hide all the dead cells. It's like magic! 

It has decent sweet smell, still bearable. If you are allergic to fragrance, you are advised to try this out on your skin first (small area) and wait for few hours. This lip color leaves fade stain and only stays on lips for 3 to 4 hours. Need to re-apply and touch up after eaten. 

The applicator is designed slightly curve upward to allow easy application on lips. The size of the brush or do we call it sponge? (I don't really know the material of the applicator) yet the size is suits with women lips, not too big or no too small cause some of lipgloss' applicators are tend to give heavy messy smudge on lips but not for this buddy. The sharp edge brush allows precise application onto lips .

By looking at the tubes, Glam 2 is much brighter than Glam 7. At first I thought Glam 7 color will be more into nude-y side and Glam 2 is like coral-y red. However, when I opened both tubes, they are kind of the same. Wait! let me find the right word for you. They are not same, they are similar but different in finishes. ^^ .Why do I say that? Please refer to picture below, scroll down~

As you can see, there's small particles of gold shimmer in Glam 2 whilst Glam 7 the color is truly plain and opaque, no shimmer in it. If I would to describe the color differences between Glam 2 and 7, I would say Glam 7 has brown under-toned (warmer) compared to Glam 2. 

Packaging wise? I must say they are cute! The design is a bit tricky and unique. It looks like lipstick bullet but when we screw it out, it's actually a lipgloss! Same size with Maybelline color sensational lipsticks despite they're in liquid form. To keep the lipgloss safe, you are advised to make sure the cap is locked tightly to avoid any leaking.

November 2013 Beauty Favourites!

Hello! Time to rock our Saturday with few of my beauty favourite products!

Eyes part

My current makeup style is more into bare simple makeup. It looks like no makeup on but there's makeup. haha. Get what I mean? So lets see the products for the eyes. 

1) MAC Groundwork paint pot is one of my favourite eye primer or on to go eyeshadow. Just use finger to swipe the color on lids and ya, its ready to go. This color is almost similar to "Painterly" which is bare skin color. 

2) Next, I normally set the groundwork cream shadow with Naked color from Naked palette (Num 1). The color naked is really bare and nearly similar to the skin. So, that is why I liked to use this color, simple and keep it natural. 

3) My favourite highlighter or also known as my favourite versatile eyeshadow is this,  Stila Kitten. I did a full review post on it.  The color is pretty natural on lids and wearable either for daily makeup or simple night makeup look. 

I have this mascara for quite a long time but never open it because I normally will use one mascara at one time. I just finished my Maybelline Rocket mascara (it's already dry) and due to that reason, I just opened my Mac Archie mascara collection. Feel guilty using it but what can I do, I still need to use it someday. haha.

 

Blusher is a must makeup product in my makeup routine . In this month I have been using this Nars blusher in Taos a lot. The color makes my face blush naturally and suit to my skin tone. 

If you are asking me for the best blush brush, my answer going to be " GO FOR SIGMA F40! It is freakin soft and worth every ringgit. No regret at all. Where to buy it? my favourite shopping online site is : "luxola.com" . I bought all of my Sigma brushes over there especially when they've promotion. I'm collecting Sigma brushes slowly one by one. And now my Sigma brush collection is growing bigger. Alhamdullilah. Sikit sikit, lama lama jadi bukit. 

Lip colors of the month are cha cha tint from Benefit and Revlon Super lustrous lipgloss in Pink Pop. Woot Woot! Korean lips style, dap the lip tint onto lips, spread it evenly, then finish  it with lipgloss. Beautiful sexy lips!Mwaaahhhhh!  Pop up your natural beauty with lip tint! 

Fuh, lip tint is the best savior for people who looking for natural lip color but doesn't want to look too heavy with lipstick. This is the solution, get a lip tint! 

Last but not least, a skin care. It is a local brand serum mist, Essenseri. 

I love the idea of spraying since I don't really like to open a cap and then pour it, apply all over the face and you know, It consumes time and attention. Therefore, the idea of spraying is much easier. After bath, just wipe out your face and spray it into the face. Easy! Seriously, to those who know me well, you guys know, I'm a lazy bum. Just wanna share my simple daily skin care routine : remove makeup by using makeup remover, cleanse the face, spray some toner, serum and that's it! Moisturiser , I use it seldomly, I have no idea why I always skip moisturiser & night cream. I know, it's not good, but if my skin peel off, I will apply moisturiser, a lot! Seriously! hahaha (cuak muka kedut kering).

Makeup Forever Aqua Rouge Review and swatches #18

It has double ended brushes and 2 formula- lip cream and lip gloss at each sides. 

The product is supposedly water resistant, smudge proof, long wear lipcolor and it is formulated to lock color on lips for no transfer or fading result.  

Its intensely pigmented formula provides immediate opaque color with extreme shine when you apply the gloss on. 

The applicator for the lip cream color. 

If you noticed, upper swatch is lipgloss and under it is lip color. 

Applicator for clear lip  gloss, it is brush tip. 

The color I chose is No 18, which is a beautiful coral color and looks natural on me. It is Summer edition and I believe its already in permanent line. Do check it out because I bought the lipcream after Summer season, so, I believe it is still available here in Malaysia.

What can I say is, the formula is quite drying, one downside for this lipcream and after you apply it, you will feel one layer of ink on your lips. To make the color even on lips, fingers application need to be applied where we need to dab and even out the color cream.

Lipgloss is a great complement for the lipcream since it could helps to cover up all the cracks and gives nice smooth texture on lips. Without lipgloss, the lips would look very dry.
Make sure your lips are smooth when you want to apply this lipcream.
Personally, I feel the texture of the lipgloss is quite sticky yet there's no minty flavour, so for sensitive lips, this product should be fine to use.

Overall, this lipcream is very a long lasting lipstick and only can be removed by makeup remover. It can last up to 8 hours including eating and drinking. The price for this product is really costly, around RM 90 and above in Sephora. I forgot the exact price but what can I say is, if you want a very long wearing lipstick, you may give this a try but, what can I recommend you is to take bold red or dark color so that the crack texture on lips would not be seen obviously.

What's in my handbag TAG!

Assalamualaikum and hi readers!

This time I'm going to do a post tagged on "What's in my handbag?" which is seems interesting topic to do and I want to thank Sabby for tagging me. She did hers and read her blog post here what's in her handbag, the way she organizing things in her bag and also the stuffs that she loves to bring along with her 24-7. haha. Not really 24-7 but at least half of a day. haha.

Normally I have bring different handbag to different occasion, uses and place. So, on the left is my current using "class" or school handbag and on the right is my current favourite daily basis handbag.

I love these kind of handbags because I'm a person that loves to throw stuffs into my handbag and they're quite roomy and space-y. 

My class bag is bigger than the other because I'll put more stuffs in it and easy to carry any reasonable class materials in it. 

They two are from Bonito and bought them with reasonable price.

I still can't afford to buy high end handbags since I still under my parents' and have not working permanently. 

These are overall items that I carry all the time with me. 

Water bottle and Pencil Case

I only bring these two things in my "class" handbag because I need these two desperately!

I need to bring my stationery to class, without them, I won't survive and die slowly in class because I know I need a pencil to draw something while bored. 

Vincci Long Purse and Cardholder

I bought this purse end of last year and so far it still looks good (most of my purse would look terrible within 6-8 months) haha.. I prefer long purse because it can hold my money nicely, straight, not folded and has few separators that helps me a lot in order for me to organize my money, bank cards and receipts.

I got that cardholder from Daiso and I store most of my membership cards. There's 8 slots and it's just perfect for me because I only have some with a bonus cheap! only RM 5.

Powerbank and phone

Since I'm taking all these photos by using my phone, so, in this picture put a representative of my phone, a case. ^_^

Powerbank is very important especially when you're using smartphones. So, my advise is, get one powerbank incase your phone always run out battery. 

Comb and Hairband

I don't think I need to explain these two things. They are like girls' bestfriends :) 

Heathcote & Ivory Vintage Collection Handcream, Bio-essence Mineral Spray, WatsonsWet Tissue and makeup bag

I love this makeup bag so much and get it from Kaisons, Paradigm Mall for cheap price!

There's two compartments, one is for brush and another one only empty space to put big random items in it.

There's is also a mirror, easy for me to do my makeup using this mirror because it's quite big. 

 So, these are the items what I keep in my makeup bag!

Lets zoom it!

Revlon Photoready Bb cream, PeraPeri liptint, Revlon lipstick, Lip ice and Benefit Coralista lipgloss.

Revlon BB cream- I need my foundation / bb cream/ face cream because after pray I need to put my makeup back and this foundation is really easy, light and the packaging is slim, smaller comparing to other foundation/ bb cream. I'm in love with the formula too. 

Lipsticks- I always change my lipsticks due to my mood but the permanent lip stuffs are Lip Ice and Coralista lipgloss because they're moisturizing and my bffs. 

 Tony Moly Eyebrow palette, Silkygirl Makeup Remover, cotton pad, MUA blusher and Lunasol powder foundation!

Silkygirl Big Eye Mascara (my all time favourite), Heavy Rotation eyeliner, MUA Red Drama lipliner, Angle brush for my eyebrow shadow and Essence Blush brush.

Last but not least...

Eclipse Mints and Car KEY! not KA-KI.

That is all whats in my bag, for me they are equally important don't know about you. I tried to reduce my things but I can't. Oh ya, I did! I removed my perfume from this handbag because I don't want the bottle get scratches. 

So, with honour, I want to tag lucky people to do this tag and I really love to see what are the stuffs you girls carry in your handbag, cause I really need help to reduce stuffs in my bag cause sometimes I feel its heavy and too many stuffs in it eventhough to me they all are important.
