Raya Makeup Tutorial #RayaCantikBergaya 2015

Hello ladies!

Since Raya is around the corner (well, to be exact it's another 16 days), I'd recorded a Raya Makeup tutorial for beginner.

In this video I showed how to do a proper makeup, and make the makeup lasts longer.
Besides that I also will be showing you how to draw eyebrow in steps plus eyeliner using gel liner.

It's very easy, all you need is only PRACTICING + try and error!

Review on Too Cool For School Art Class Lip Crayon in Orange

LET'S GO TO SCHOOL AND BRING YOUR PERSONAL CRAYON WITH YOU!

CHARACTERISTICS

Glossy (not like lipgloss/ not sticky), but no glitter, no shimmer.

Not so creamy but more to wax texture.

Light texture and makes me feel comfortable to apply it as much as I want.

Suit for daily use. 

 In pencil shape/ crayon shape

PRO

Quite moisturizing.For some reason, I love this compared to Revlon balm stain.

The colour last on me between 2 to 3 hours. But still better compared to some other lipsticks that disappear in every 30 min. 

It is in pencil form, so it's easy to apply on lips and line up the lips shape

It glides smoothly on lips. 

Nice packaging, cute, simple, slim and sleek easy to keep in makeup pouch.

CONS

Need to be sharpen. 

The colour is quite sheer (but not too sheer), need to layer 2 to 4 layers to get nice bold colour .

I always re-apply this colour for every one to two hours to maintain opaque colour. -but actually,I don't care what's people think, I always apply it in public because it looks like a balm to others, so, people would thought that I re-apply balm or marker pen on my lips :P

(If lipstick, I'm quite shy to apply it in public/ kedai mamak/ anywhere after I'd my meal)

Need to close the cap carefully  or else, its gonna be messy (the product will hit the cap if we didn't close the cap carefully)

The cap will be easily broken because its made from plastic.

 I hate the shape after I've sharpen it. It becomes ugly and not in the perfect /nice shape. :(

The colour in the picture above is almost similar to the real one in person.

But in the picture you couldn't see the glossy effects because the texture is really smooth and quite moisturising. (Not moist like Revlon Lipbutter  which is really buttery but its moisturising level is just nice for me)

I heard that blue gives pearly shimmer and yellow gives glittery effects. But when you mix two colors from their line, it will form a pretty new shade.

Too Cool For School Haul

I will do a review on the products above especially on the Lips Art Crayon since no ones talk about it and I'm totally in love with it very much lately. *my favourite for this week by the time I have it, its like my 24 hours lips product (even when I'm going to bed, i know this sounds crazy.just being obsessed with the color)

The Rules of Pores cleanser also becomes one of my daily cleanser (used 2 packs) and I will do review on it soon.We'll see how because I'm quite busy with my dissertation paper and need to finish up some of the part by this week :(

I will write about it when I have free time so at least I can help you a lil bit in buying things from "Too Cool For School" store ^_^

Review and Swatches: Silkygirl Eye Love Handbag Eyeshadow

Assalamualaikum to all muslim readers and hi to everyone!

Today I feel like wanted to write something and I have no idea what to write then suddenly I saw a cute handbag palette displayed on my vanity table which is Eye Love Handbag palette from Silkygirl. Automatically make me feel like writing about it. ^_^

This palette is super special and design for teenagers or those who wanted to learn basic eyeshadow makeup/ beginners. But even me 22 years old woman, still loving this palette and put it in my makeup bag sometimes. (Most of the time I display it on my makeup table because it looks super cute and exclusive)

This product line comes with 2 different shades which are Desert Rose and Floral Tote. I got this palette from Silkygirl team and I would like to thank you to the team for letting me try this limited edition palette. 

The colours selected are quite under "safe category" to play with and if you are beginner, I guess this palette is the best starter kit for you. :)

   

This is the packaging and for me this is a really great design and good kick start for Malaysia makeup industry.

It comes with a mirror and a eyeshadow sponge tool to use , it is an easy complete set to bring travel with. :) 

I numbering them to make it easier for you to refer the swatches. 

From left:

Shade  #1 : pale yellow color which is great for highlight/inner corner

Shade #2: pale peachy color which looks good on all over the lid/ for inner corner of eyes/ quarter of the eyes/ base / on bottom waterline to make eyes pop out or look bigger

Shade #3: Rose gold-copper color which is my absolutely favourite in this palette.You can apply it at the crease/ all over the eyelids / just apply this alone. 

Why I said this palette is good for Malaysian teenagers and beginners?

Well, normally Malaysian teenagers and beginners always skip eyeshadow part in their makeup routine cause they aren't confident enough to apply colours on their eyelids, so for me this palette is a really good starting kit for them as this palette provide light and beautiful natural color for them to use. These three colors doesn't make you eyes look swollen or like a panda. This palette is perfectly for you to use before you try on other expensive palettes in the market.

All these three colors are basic and we just need these three colors for daily makeup look. But if, you are really makeup maniac like me, you gonna get bored with this palette easily because the colors only 3 and we can not live without variety looks. hehe.. 

P/s: I used to create Marilyn Monroe look by using this palette :) Marilyn's eyeshadow color were in peachy pink and I used #2 color for the look. <3
