The Exclusive Sa sa Trove , by Vanity Trove

Assalamualaikum and Hello peeps!

We going to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr in few days time. Have ready with your Raya kit? Even for your open house beauty kit? hehehe. You need a new complete set babe. Who says so? ME! hahaha.

CYBER COLORS Cleansing Oil (Lavender)

It's moisturizing and soothing cleansing oil  that could dissolves all makeup and impurities. It helps to retain moisture of your skin and leave skin smooth. 

How to use it?

With dry hands, pump 2-3 times onto hand palm and apply the oil all over the face. Emulsify by cold water and massage thoroughly the skin. Rinse with cold water.

Haruda YUZU Pore Cleansing Gel .

This is to remove blackhead and dirts additionally control oil secretion. It has warm effect to discriminate the blackhead.

How to use it?

After cleansing, apply this to nose. Leave for 1-2 minutes, gently massage for 20 seconds and rinse with warm water. After rinse, apply toner and anything cold to close back your nose pores. :)

Neogence Amino Acid Cleansing Mousse

A silky foam cleanser that clean skin without any tight effect. It contains natural active ingredient, Amino Acid is mild acidity of pH5.5- non-stimulating suitable for all skin types.

Deep cleansing, moisturises, increases skin metabolism and helps soften the dead skin.

How to use it?

Pump 2-3 times on palm and gently massage on wet face and rinse with warm water. Apply skin care routine after this.

Product in this box is in 50 ml

It is quite a lot for someone to try with it. Normally for a skin care, it is not easy to change from one skin care to another skin care. If you are satisfied enough with this cleanser, move forward to buy a full bottle of it. This small edition(not that small, still could be used in a month time) is for your starter kit. Try it, it might suit with your skin .

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Multi-Purpose Dry Oil

I saw this product in almost every each of France pharmacies and it is very popular there. This product is the best to used in France, dry weather especially for face and hair. However, I didn't pick this up but decided to give a try on other brand, Caudaline. Alhamdullilah I've given a chance to try out this product in this trove.

It is a best seller product from NUXE and helps to repair & protect face, body and hair with its unique concentration of Precious Plant Oils (30%) and Vitamin E. It doesn't contain any preservative.

How to use it?

For the FACE, Mix a drop of this Huile Prodigieuse Oil with your foundation for easier glide with no sticky effect ( I have not tried this method yet, will give a try soon)

For the HAIR, Spray/ pour a bit on your hand palm and apply evenly  onto your hair for natural best result. (I always do this and found it works the best/ better than hair serum especially for my dry frizzy hair)

For BODY- Sprinkle a few drops of Huile Prodigiuse into your bath for a truly relaxing experience. (I normally just apply evenly the oil replacing body butter or lotion before going to bed).

Natural Aqua Gel By CURE

This product is quite popular in Japan, it is a skin exfoliation product contains with 90% Hydrogen Water which helps to remove dead skin and dirt to support the natural skin regeneration process.

It is preservative FREE, coloring FREE, fragrance FREE and also mineral oil and alcohol FREE. See, it is safe to use on your skin and gentle exfoliate your skin. Face skin quite thin and sensitive, so only mild products are allowed to be used on face.

How to use it?

After cleansing , dry skin with clean towel. Then apply CURE on face and gently massage. Rinse with warm water, follow the step with your daily routine skin care such as toner, moisturiser, serum and etc.

BRTC Jasmine 3D Moist Power

Honestly, this is my first time seeing this powder and know the brand. The description saying that "It is 3D moist powder comprises of jasmine extract wrapped in powder capsules that melts into skin like velvet cream upon application. "

"It creates a moist radiant skin look along with a cooling texture as the moisturising capsule helps endow liveliness to rough, dull skin. It can control the secretion of excess ebum , moisturise, cover imperctions and provide a brightening and soothing effect."

How to use it?

After foundation / BB cream, apply this on face using dab method of buff using powder brush on face.

Overall, I like this box because it has setting powder, the Jasmine 3D powder, CURE, NUXE, Haruda YUZU Pore Cleansing Gel and also the makeup remover, Cyber Colour. However, I really wish to get an additional makeup item in the box such as lipstick or blusher or mascara.  Since it's for raya, I would use the CURE and Haruda Yuzu Pore cleansing gel to pampered myself the night before raya or two days before(own self-made SPA), the powder going to used for Raya makeup + open house and the NUXE oil, I will carry it together in my handbag in case I need emergency hair touch up (My hair is dry-frizzy type, so need oil to manage it and control the level of frizzy-ness, so crazy la my hair ni especially under the sunlight) . I'm keen to try out the cleanser but not now, cause raya is coming up. I just want to clean up my dirty black heads so that face going to look flawless, need that 3D powder for natural velvet effects and CURE to scrub off my dead skin. :) Best kan? and also NUXE of course,hair necessity.

 I was pretty excited to attend an event organised by Vanity Trove and Avene and frankly speaking I was extremely excited about the products too! 

Like seriously, I got few samples from Avene before but honestly I do not know how to use them in sequences and the function and what I know only the Thermal Spring WaterSpray. That is ALL! Like seriously? "Wiida, you don't know Avene products?"  Yes, I just know the Spring Water Spray and other thing that I know is France skin care is dandy! Very good for sensitive skin and gentle works on almost every skin types.

Vanity Trove April 2013 edition review

For the first time, I did not do the unboxing post/video and straightly jump into review. I guess I'm the last person to do this review post since I've seen a lot of bloggers had done their reviews and unboxing posts.

Honestly, I can't wait to open the box and I opened it once I received the box. So, sorry for no video on it. Hence, in order to replace the unboxing video, I did a video recorded with my own iphone and edited with my own ability and ideas (that's why this time the video going to be delay, blog post first, video soon). Sorry for the  low quality video this time. ^_^ Forgive me darlings! I will do a better one next time. InsyaAllah..

The first thing I saw when I opened it.

A catalog of the month!

The theme is THE SHOWER OF SUMMER

and all the product details are in it.

I really love the details they've given us, but it would be nice if in the catalog they state where could we get the products in stores. Because some of the products are really new for us and we did not know where could we get it. We are not kaki jalan to know all the products at one time, aren't we? and most of us are lazy to browse just to know where could we get the item. WAIT WAIT WAIT! Not we all,  maybe only me. haha. sometimes, I'm lazy to browse internet. (sometimes need to blame the band-width connection too!)  heheh

KATE eyeshadow DB in BR 2

It boosts a palette with two shades that can be used individually or mixed. 

They comes in 8 different hues and great for beginners and professional. 

If you're beginner, this palette is great for you as it comes with an instruction and the colour is really natural, light for eyes. You may choose this colour if you want , it's categorized as a safe colour.

For the real reason why Im happy for this month's box, it is because of this! This eyeshadow makes me smile for the whole month! Hope VT could gives more makeups for the upcoming troves. 

The swatches for the two colours. 

Quite creamy, silky,easy to blend and quite pigmented. 

But the colour that I get is not so visible on eyes. Maybe because of the shimmer in it (they're not matte). 

ORIKS

"The Gemstone Nano Platinum Aqua Cream is a moisturizer that smoothens wrinkles, tighten pores and brightens your complexion." (Once I heard these words, I feel like this is a must to try!) 

"It contains more than 90 types of natural minerals to boost skin vitality and protects your skin from harsh environmental stressors."

 They claimed that, when you apply this, "the hydrating formula locks in plenty of moisture to maintain supple and dewy skin after a long day in the hot summer sun".

Wow, really summer formula isn't it? I will give a try on this. 

I just realized that a good moisturizer could helps us to lift up our skin, give full nutrient, makes our skin looks glow and healthy.

ISSEY MIYAKE, L'EAU D'ISSEY -FLORALE

In the template given to me, there are variety of fragrances such as Elie Saab Parfums, Jean Paul Gaultier, Narciso Rodriguez and last but not least the EDT that I have, Issey Miyake. 

The International Beauty Manager for these fragrances had Award-winning in Canadian beauty professional. My lil comment:

I don't know whether this serum will works or not, but by looking the information and instruction how to apply it on face, I do think this is a good product. Plus, wo doesnt know Clarins? They are expensive but worth to use. Our face is precious and we may consider what to use on face because it is the most sensitve part and we don't want to ruin it. 

Plus, Clarins is made from France, I can trust France dermalogical products because most of France facial products are good to all range of skin types from normal to sensitive skins. But of course, France beauty skin care normally quite pricey but if they work on your skin, better you continue with it. Love yourself, money is subject number 2.

When I get this month's trove, I was like.... damn extremely happy and can't describe my happiness by words. Only people around me know how happy I am when I received the box. (like a monkey, jumping around...and the laughing like a Pontianak!) 

Pontianak is a vampire in malay or indonesia version. They're women and love to laugh scarily with no reason.

So, this month box is really amazing and VT has improved their services and products in the trove. I hope they would maintain the performances, quality of the products and also adding more value into the trove.

Additional, some of the sample size of products are really new to me and some of them give me great impression. I can label the quality of the sample products chosen this month is a "A". 

Oh ya, Great news to all, 

after revising the price, Vanity Trove reduce the price from RM 60 to RM 50 but they won't reduce the quality of the product. 

Product quality will be remain the same. 

This is because they want you all enjoy the beauty box with lower price and they are currently improving their product by customer-needs driven not to company needs.

As usual, they give us their signature pretty sturdy box contains variety of premium trove or beauty items that would surprise us.
Most of the items are really out of our expectation as they're really premium, expensive, new and sometimes something that we never thought of.
But, some of the items given are predictable (to me) cause they did announced it on their facebook fan page.
haha. Okay, okay, but still I never try the item mentioned yet. :P

 What's inside this vanity? 

First at all, of course we would see the main catalog of Vanity Trove with its beautiful cover page. The catalog list up all the name of the products given, the idea of the products and also pricing. So that, if we feel the product suit us, we could buy it and at least we know the rough price of the product.

PRICE: Missing In Action a.k.a Unknown

Referring to the catalog, they're supposedly include "Asian potions Blooming Ginger Body Lotion" in the box but they'd replaced it with this. 

I don't mind as long they'd replaced it with something new to me and useful plus they gave it in quantity of 2. :) But then, hope next time this thing wont happen again. I guess Vanity Trove printed the template before get the items or the items are not enough to include in every box. Luckily, there's Asian Potion voucher for us to try their products but still, need to spend more money in order to have it. That's not cool.

My humble thoughts;

1) The selected products are really good.

 I've tried "Etre Belle" items and they work well on my skin.  p/s: recently my skin is burning so, I put some of these two items together; the gel tonic and day&night cream, they are incredibly AWESOME! I feel much better. 

All the burning feeling gone in a day.

If I have extra money, I would invest on this because the smell is pleasant, the texture is soft and it absorbs to the skin .Plus making my irritated skin feels better. ^_^ suka suka!

2) Thank you for the eye cream as I'm currently searching for it. 

 Do you know we need to apply eye cream twice a day? 

which is before sleep and before applying any makeup at day time.

 If you notice any small lines under your eyes even you're only 20, you still need to dab some eye cream because it is important! 

Sometimes when you wash your face, you accidentally wash over your eyes area too. That's what happened to me. Even concealer couldn't help us. So, remember never skip eyecream! 

I'm thinking to buy this eyecream or Benefit one, the Potent eyecream. I need to try this first, if it works, I will buy it in full size. 

3) It would be better if there's another makeup item such as red lipstick or even an eyeliner that could makes people enjoy the "Temptress" theme. <3 Who doesn't want to feel sexy right? fuhh. Bold red lips color would be great for this theme. Adui. Now I feel like buying a red lipstick. Fuhh. 

Have you tried Maybelline Sensational Red lipstick in "Are You Red-dy" and other colours? I tried it and would buy it one day. The colour pay off is amazing, and it just look stunning on my lips, I need to own it one day. 

To those who have your own vanity trove, enjoy it with your lovely smile cause smiling could make you live longer and its also known as natural beauty face exercise ^_^

Ya, I reward myself a slice of cake. Can't stand with it, so yummy. I really got a bad habit which is eating "unhealthy food or more to desserts".  Hmm. whatever, I don't care, I eat what I want to eat and leave it once full accommodate in my stomach..haha 

yeay yeay! Alhamdullilah we managed to take all these pictures before raining cause right after that it was raining heavily and luckily we were somewhere covered. haha .

To conclude it, VT doesn't fully follows the theme, Temptress wheres there is no red lipsticks, any aromatherapy sensual bath & body kit or even atleast for body mist/fragrance. Consumers would be happy if they get one full size of red lipstick in this box. But, by the chance, the products work great on me :) Have you tried the products given in the box?
