My June Beauty Favourites!

Selamat berpuasa to all muslim friends :)

I know it's quite late to post June favourites since now its already mid of July.. However, I really want to share with you guys my beauty favourites of the month since last month I did bought a lot of stuff and went kuu kuu on shopping. Seriously, I can't control myself  and I stopped shopping when I realised my "duit makan" left few bucks! hahaha. Luckily this month I could save up some of my pocket money due to fasting month.  I am now officially a "Shopaholic", Thank you!  (senyuman tak ikhlas)

Okay, okay, okay, lets talk about my favourite items!

Oh, for your information, it was not easy to choose 5 items from my last month's haul because I did use almost all the items I bought. But to make it simple, I just picked the items that I always bring together in my handbag.

1) Avene Spring Water

I always use this all the time especially after sweating, I will spray this all over my face & neck, then find an air-conditioner room for better cooling effect! Seriously, this helps a lot to freshen up my face and soothe my skin. I'm endorsing this so much lately. Even I use this for my current daily toner and as my moisturizer. Now I'm running out of it, need to buy one soon. 

2) Crabtree & Evelyn Somerset  Meadow Hand Therapy

As shown in the picture, I almost finish it and luckily I have back up of it. I got this from Bag Of Love 2013 May edition. The smell is really good and this brand hand cream is extremely good as its ability to soften our rough uneven skin and at the same time keep moisture out hands. But I'm not going to lie, it's quite pricey.  

3) MAC in Sounds Like Noise
I know we cannot find this lipstick in Malaysia some more it was limited edition of Hayley William collection in April 2013. The orange colour complement my skin tone very well. The formula doesn't glides smoothly on lips (because it is in matte formula) and it's a bit dry but the colour is really alluring and I'm obsessed with it. 

4) NARS Larger than Life Long Wear Eyeliner in Barrow Street (Mint green)
This mint eyeliner is really pretty especially when we apply it on lower waterline.  

Barrow Street had good color payoff in a single stroke (when I apply it on lower lashes line /water line) and it was build-able to more opaque color on the lash line(due to creamy texture). The eyeliner doesn't smudge on my under eyes area even when I am sweating. The longevity for this eyeliner to stay on my waterline is quite impressive (this is because I have oily eyelids and most of eyeliners doesn't stay longer than 3 hours, most likely smudge horribly under my eyes). So far, I really like this for my lower waterline eyeliner.

Normally, I will apply lighter colour eyeliner( white, silver, nude, light pink, pink, teal and other fun colours to be apply on my lower waterline/lashes line) 

My Preferable eyeliners to apply on under waterline/ lower lashes are: Funky silkygirl eyeliner, Sephora 12h eyeliner and this Nars Street Barrow. I haven't tried applying the Nars Via Vaneto (Black) on my under lower lashes /waterline. Will let you know the result. 

5) Real Techniques Core Collection set (Buffing brush)
This brush is the star of the kit. I am in love with this brush as it is extremely soft and dense. This brush helps me to apply liquid foundation evenly on my face and buff perfectly to cover my imperfections especially when ever I am in rush!Really recommend you to buy this kit for your starter kit.

I will be more productive in this week since I have submitted my assignments plus this week going to be my study break (hahah, always procrastinating).

 I was pretty excited to attend an event organised by Vanity Trove and Avene and frankly speaking I was extremely excited about the products too! 

Like seriously, I got few samples from Avene before but honestly I do not know how to use them in sequences and the function and what I know only the Thermal Spring WaterSpray. That is ALL! Like seriously? "Wiida, you don't know Avene products?"  Yes, I just know the Spring Water Spray and other thing that I know is France skin care is dandy! Very good for sensitive skin and gentle works on almost every skin types. 

Eau Thermale Avene Cleanance Soapless Gel

Assalamualaikum and Hello to everyone!

Are you searching for ultimate cleanser? Well, here I've tried an Avene cleanser that I got it for review purposed from Only Beauty.com and surprisingly, this cleanser is very good for everyone but the product itself claims that it is good for a specific skin type which is oily skin. In my opinion, the texture is good for everyone BUT since the formula is specially made for oily skin type, so I guess you just need to follow the rules. hehehe. (Monolog:Boleh guess guess pulak aku ni)

This is the sample size bottle that I had used for few times. 

This cleanser doesn't dries up your skin and leaves some moisture on your skin after washing it off. But, for oily skin people, you might don't like the oily / moist feeling after washing it off, so what I can suggest is,  use the cleanse and leave it for a minute or less . By doing this method, it could helps to reduce oily feeling after washing it off. But, if you have dry skin like mine, better use it with in few seconds (applicable to all brands of skin cares, tips from my beautician). 

Another gentle advise, don't clean your eyes area using this cleanser ok? Dangerous ma, later wrinkles appear. Ayoyoyo, become grandma la. .. 

The Cleanance Soapless Gel Cleanser is an ultra mild cleansing gel for blemish-prone skin. It contains Avene Thermal Spring Water to help reducing irritate skin and soothe skin, therefore it is suitable for the oily skin which is normally oily skin people have more pimples and big pores comparing to dry skin.
It acts effectively eliminate impurities and excess sebum with a bonus "Cucubita pepo" to purify and regulate sebum secretions. (pumpkin seed oil).

The texture;

It is made in gel form and it is soapless or no foam in other words. Personally, what I know, foam-less cleanser is good for all skins because it shows that the product doesn't contain any harmful or harsh ingredients. What ever it is, foam could makes your skin dry and soap without foam is very good for gentle use. 

What I can say is, our face skin is very thin so, please make a right decision to use any skin care for your face. Don't use any skin care that irritate your skin or makes your skin feels too tight (feel like put on botox) or even brighten you skin in a day with heavy peel off agent. This is serious, it could makes the skin surface thinner and exposed to the harmful UV radiation. 

From my view point/ not paid advise: As long the cleanser is suitable with you, doesn't feel irritate after using it, more into organic ingredient , something you've used to or it works well cleaning your face, it should be enough. Don't forget to use toner to close your pores back and ya moisturiser shouldn't be skipped even you have oily skin. 

HOW TO KNOW YOU HAVE OILY SKIN OR MIX COMBINATION SKIN?

Well, basically when you see your face have excessive oily sebum, hence it shows that you have oily skin however if you have problem ONLY on T-zone but no problem on cheeks and feel dry on cheeks, so, you are mix babe! Congratulation Mix people (ala2 Pan-Asian gitu) hahaha. I'm more into dry skin,from top to the bottom.(Dah la skinny, dry pulak. aduh macam zombie pulak dah) 

SEE: I have dry frizzy hair, dry face, dry lips, dry body skin, nails also look dry (I don't have any idea how to explain this, it's my term. suka ati la) hahaha. Everything also dry la. hahaha.

To wrap up this,  make sure you choose the right skin care ^_^ 

You can get this item from Guardian, Watsons, Caring and any other pharmacies that selling this brand. Well,  France skin care is the best product I ever know. :)

Shopping Haul at Sephora and ACG Clearance Sale!

Dear readers,

Basically, I should post out this post by last week but due to my busy week, I was not able to post up by last weekend. I went to the ACG clearance sale for twice and bought few items from there. Seriously the items were really draw my attention, tempt and lure! I do think I spent more than RM 100 there. Here are some items that I managed to grab ...

The basic fake eyelashes. 

the hair look so natural , soft and nice. That's why I bought it. At first I was planning to buy the funky style design lashes, then when I think twice, I need something natural for daily look makeup. What do you think? Should I buy something funky to play with next time? Its nice to photo shoot with. Just nice in the picture but not in the real world. Kinda weird to wear fancy funky fake lashes and walk around the town. 

Lipsticks are my obsession. 

Simple descriptions; 

415 Pink in the afternoon- natural look pink. Love this color and always wear this color when ever I need light color on my lips. 

013 Smoked Peach - Matte orangy peach color. :) 

070 Soft Nude- Light nude color. If you like nude, you should try this color. 

005 Lipbutter sugar frosting- Pale pink. 

Revlon Photoready Airbrush mousse. 

On that day, this was selling at RM 30 only. I already tried this and was amazed with the formula! my skin really looks like edited in Photoshop! My mom and my sister also realized about it. 

150 ml Eau Thermale Avene the thermal spring water is only for RM 15.

Just know one thing . We can not shake this thermal spring water before use ok? :) all this time I always shake before use it. maybe its a habit to make sure all the mixtures inside mixed well. haha 

Silkygirl Funky Eyelights pencil in Solid gold and Ocean blue.

Finally Naked 2 is in my hand and Thanks to my friend, Shaza for made me jealous! She bought this palette first then by the time she got it, she sent me some pictures of this palette through imessage. Hello, this palette looks so tempting and of course I need to get it too! 

Original price was RM 179 and bought at RM 143 only. :) Quite a good deal ya? :)

and again thanks to my girl,same person Shaza. We went Sephora together and she tried this foundation on her face. Looks pretty on her face , thus I immediately bought this foundation since there's some discount on it.

I was aiming for this since January and for this sale, it was only for RM 60 instead of RM 79. For me, every Sen and Ringgit discounted are precious for me.
