Speaking of eyebrow products, there are many of eyebrow affordable alternative products. I still remember, few months back, some of my bloggers friends were asking me for "drugstore" a.k.a affordable eyebrow products for their daily makeup and I had no idea! "speechless". 

haha. 

Not saying all the high end products are good but mainly, they are really good. However, some of the drugstore / Watsons / Guardian products are not reach up to my expectation. Sorry .. but recently, I found tonne of eyebrow products that work incredibly good and affordable. Double lottery! eh! hahah. 

NYX matte eyeshadow in tryst is one of the great and affordable products in the market. It can be found in Sephora at the priced of RM 19 .It's pretty reasonable right? 

The shade is great for darker, thick eyebrow. It is almost similar to MAC Charcoal brown (RM 50) but in cooler and lighter tone. The quality, texture of the product is tip top. It is not too chalky and powdery like most of the drugstore / Watsons / Guardian products. Seriously, I love the color for my brows, this is because the color is not too dark nor too light. parfait! try this out!

Cyber Colors Auto Eyebrow Pencil REVIEW

I got a lot of questions on "how I did my eyebrow" and what type of product that I used on my eyebrow. Some were asking me for recommendations and guide in purchasing "cheaper' alternative eyebrow product. I know there is not many options in the market in "eyebrow range" since it is a new makeup trend for us , Asians, specifically Malaysians. Most of my eyebrow products are not availble in Malaysia. Damn! I didn't realise it until one day blogger AidaZura asked me this question. 

Undeniable, a part of face and lip makeup, MALAYSIANS are nowadays are more concern on eyebrow makeup. You don't believe me? Look at the elder generation, our moms, their essential makeup routine are ; face (skincare, sunscreen, bb cream / day cream) , eyebrow (to give thicker illustration brows and colored brows -since they have grey hair brows) and lastly, lipbalm or lipsticks. Just giving you a rough ideas how important is eyebrow make up. 

Being a beauty blogger is not easy yet, exploring and playing with makeup is the most fun part in blogging life. Experimenting products consume TIME, MONEY ,EXPERIENCE(Try and Error) and KNOWLEDGE.

Currently there is 5-type of eyebrow makeup products in the market ;

1) Pencil  ( normal pencil / auto rotate pencil)

2) Marker pen (ink pen product )

3) Gel eyebrow product ( comes in jar form or tube )

4) Powder / eyeshadow  (in palette or single eyeshadow. can be replaced by using matte eyeshadow as long the color matches our eyebrow) 

5) Mascara (clear version / colored eyebrow mascara) 

Surprisingly my first Cyber Colors auto eyebrow pencil is completely finished! that shows how amazing is this eyebrow pencil to me and today I will telling you the unbelievable miracle done by this humble eyebrow pencil. It costs RM 19.90 at SASA and the packaging is tip top, nothing negative to say about the packaging, almost similar to Empro brand (the brand specialist in eyebrow product) and ya as usual, I would tell you my honest opinion on this eyebrow pencil. 

There's 6 colors in total from this line which are : Black, grey, grey-brown, dark brown, brown and light brown. I only owned two colors from them, one already finished and only have another pencil. I will restock more soon as Sasa is having sale until 1st Sep only.

The tip of the pencil is flat and straight. This makes my job easier and it pretty much helping me out in drawing &framing my eyebrows. I never knew that flat straight tip could give some influence/ effect in drawing brows until I found this. 

At the other end of the pencil, there's brush for blending purpose. The pencil is complete for eyebrow makeup, therefore it is very convenient and easy to carry around in your purse especially when you need to re-do your makeup after solat. I've been carrying this pencil around for more than a month! see the result! it's completely empty. hahaha. I'm totally obsessed with this eyebrow pencil. Highly recommended for newbies. easy to draw, easy to blend and creates natural brow look. TIP TOP product! 

Dark brown

It has ashy-brown undertone to it. The difference between brown and dark brown is the undertone color. Brown has red undertone while dark brown is more into warm ashy brown. 

Light Brown

It has red undertone to it but the color is lighter than brown. "Brown" is darker than light brown and has red undertone to it compared to dark brown which has grey ashy undertone. 

Besides that, the color eyebrow pencil also last quite long on the brows up to 8 hours in a day. Depending on weather, type of skin and techniques. 

Tips: Draw the desire frame on your brow. Then, filling in the color and blend with the given ended brush. So far, it lasts me up to 8 hours from morning to evening. If you have oily skin , wanted to secure the brows color, you may use this simple technique by setting it up with eyeshadow powder/ eyebrow powder. Take medium/ light brown color and apply it on top of it. The powder would set the drawn brows.  

To sum up, I really enjoyed and love this eyebrow pencil as it is very high quality porduct at affordable price. My February Beauty Favourites 2013 Edition

Assalamualaikum and Hi All!

It's time for my favourite makeup stuffs! haha. Oh yaaaaaa! I'm so excited with this! haha. I'm not showing off but just want to share items that I used a lot on this month.  

Yeah, here we are, revised back all products that I loved the most in this month.

FACE

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

This foundation is very light and spread very well on my face. Plus, the liquid is very watery and blend-able.  I love to use this foundation because it gives me light to medium coverage. More to medium plus can last for about 6 to 8 hours. It depends on your weather, temperature (indoor or outdoor) and place.

Besides that, the other reason I like about this product because it can cover up my dull face and makes my face looks dewy and glowy. ^_^

But remember, this foundation doesn't cover much on scars, pimples and so on. Only can cover up to medium coverage not full coverage.

Enough for me cause my face doesn't have any big scars or pimples for the moment. Need to apply concealer if you want more coverage.

Best way to apply: Using wet sponge and apply "dab dab" method. What do we call that method ya? I can't recall any word to replace it. haha.

M.A.C Blush Marilyn Monroe Edition in "Legendary"

Summarize as L. O. V. E

Natural pink-peachy color on cheeks make me in love with it~ 

Comfortable to wear it, daily basis color, long-lasting and its like my eternity choice blush color. Once you comfortable with something, you will go for it all the time.

NARS Blush in "Taj Mahal"

This blush is really pigmented and need confident to apply it. Plus the color is dramatic, very orange-y and need to control the amount of product applied on cheeks or else we might end up look like a clown.

But the only reason I like this blush because it is really a long lasting blusher! Last time during working time(part time job), I applied it at 8am and when I went to toilet at 6pm, I noticed that this blush color was remain there and my cheeks look fresh almost similar to the morning-time color.. Absolutely amazing!!! hahah. (I applied it in light pressure and the color only faded a bit) I was amazed! No need to touch up!

Best way to apply: By using Stippling Brush cause this brush only pick less/not much product and gives light pressure on skin.

EYES

Silkygirl Big Eye Mascara

MY ONLY DAILY MASCARA

Sometimes I use other mascaras for trying purpose/ just want to change my mood. BUT most of the time, this is my number one mascara. FYI, this is my second tube.

The brush is very hard and not that quality but the formula is totally genius/awesome/ syok abis la!

I'm a person that lazy to remove eye make up using remover and this is definitely my best friend!

It is super easy to remove with warm water and will not leave any smudge-y effects under your eyes on the next day! NO MORE PANDA EYES!

MUA Brow Kit

Has 3 different tone to choose; blonde, light brown and darkbrown including a slot of wax in there plus additional brow tools; tweezers and brow applicator. 

Easy to blend, pigmented, and great choice of colors. Mix and match according to your style!

Essence Cream Eyeshadow, limited edition in Circus Circus. 

Color:  Number 2, Raise the curtain for...

Easy to apply, but not that creamy. I believe Maybelline color tatoo is creamier (I don't have any from Maybelline color tatoo collection so I can't say much but I did swatch and tried them during Singapore trip). I guess I need to have one so that I can compare these two products. 

Overall, I really like it cause the color is pretty, can last up to 6 hours, easy to apply especially on lazy day. Also can be eyeshadow base color and for me, the color is almost similar to Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow in Pistol color but not 100% the same. Almost similar which is 70% -same- color. The only different is, this color has a bit of gold undertoned . Will do a review on this.

NYX Soft matte Lipcream in Istanbul

MasyaAllah! This is my favourite matte cream eveeer!!

It looks smooth on my ugly dry cracked lips and I can't describe the smell. Pleasant smell and reminds me of cakes. haha. I have no idea why! The color is absolutely gorg on me.haha (I mentioned "only on me", so that You couldn't blame me if the color doesn't suit you, better you go to Sephora and try it before purchase because different color look amazing on different people). 

I like this color so much. Planning to get San Paulo and Milan.

Etude House Bee Happy Lipbalm in Peach

 Moisturing. Cute packaging. love the peachy smell. 

It repairs my cracked dry lips. I don't know whether this lipbalm gonna be work on you cause it works on me. haha. 

p/s: I got a bad habit. I put my lips into the pot instead of using finger. No one else going to use this, so.. sorry, Its mine. haha.

It just me. I know it sound gross and disgusting but  I need more product  instead of using finger which is only pick up a bit of balm and I feel not satisfied enough.

Shopping Haul at Sephora and ACG Clearance Sale!

Basically, I should post out this post by last week but due to my busy week, I was not able to post up by last weekend. I went to the ACG clearance sale for twice and bought few items from there. Seriously the items were really draw my attention, tempt and lure! I do think I spent more than RM 100 there. Here are some items that I managed to grab ...

The basic fake eyelashes. 

the hair look so natural , soft and nice. That's why I bought it. At first I was planning to buy the funky style design lashes, then when I think twice, I need something natural for daily look makeup. What do you think? Should I buy something funky to play with next time? Its nice to photo shoot with. Just nice in the picture but not in the real world. Kinda weird to wear fancy funky fake lashes and walk around the town. 

Lipsticks are my obsession. 

Simple descriptions; 

415 Pink in the afternoon- natural look pink. Love this color and always wear this color when ever I need light color on my lips. 

013 Smoked Peach - Matte orangy peach color. :) 

070 Soft Nude- Light nude color. If you like nude, you should try this color. 

005 Lipbutter sugar frosting- Pale pink. 

Revlon Photoready Airbrush mousse. 

On that day, this was selling at RM 30 only. I already tried this and was amazed with the formula! my skin really looks like edited in Photoshop! My mom and my sister also realized about it. 

150 ml Eau Thermale Avene the thermal spring water is only for RM 15.

Just know one thing . We can not shake this thermal spring water before use ok? :) all this time I always shake before use it. maybe its a habit to make sure all the mixtures inside mixed well. haha
