November 2013 Beauty Favourites!

Hello! Time to rock our Saturday with few of my beauty favourite products!

Eyes part

My current makeup style is more into bare simple makeup. It looks like no makeup on but there's makeup. haha. Get what I mean? So lets see the products for the eyes. 

1) MAC Groundwork paint pot is one of my favourite eye primer or on to go eyeshadow. Just use finger to swipe the color on lids and ya, its ready to go. This color is almost similar to "Painterly" which is bare skin color. 

2) Next, I normally set the groundwork cream shadow with Naked color from Naked palette (Num 1). The color naked is really bare and nearly similar to the skin. So, that is why I liked to use this color, simple and keep it natural. 

3) My favourite highlighter or also known as my favourite versatile eyeshadow is this,  Stila Kitten. I did a full review post on it.  The color is pretty natural on lids and wearable either for daily makeup or simple night makeup look. 

I have this mascara for quite a long time but never open it because I normally will use one mascara at one time. I just finished my Maybelline Rocket mascara (it's already dry) and due to that reason, I just opened my Mac Archie mascara collection. Feel guilty using it but what can I do, I still need to use it someday. haha.

 

Blusher is a must makeup product in my makeup routine . In this month I have been using this Nars blusher in Taos a lot. The color makes my face blush naturally and suit to my skin tone. 

If you are asking me for the best blush brush, my answer going to be " GO FOR SIGMA F40! It is freakin soft and worth every ringgit. No regret at all. Where to buy it? my favourite shopping online site is : "luxola.com" . I bought all of my Sigma brushes over there especially when they've promotion. I'm collecting Sigma brushes slowly one by one. And now my Sigma brush collection is growing bigger. Alhamdullilah. Sikit sikit, lama lama jadi bukit. 

Lip colors of the month are cha cha tint from Benefit and Revlon Super lustrous lipgloss in Pink Pop. Woot Woot! Korean lips style, dap the lip tint onto lips, spread it evenly, then finish  it with lipgloss. Beautiful sexy lips!Mwaaahhhhh!  Pop up your natural beauty with lip tint! 

Fuh, lip tint is the best savior for people who looking for natural lip color but doesn't want to look too heavy with lipstick. This is the solution, get a lip tint! 

Last but not least, a skin care. It is a local brand serum mist, Essenseri. 

I love the idea of spraying since I don't really like to open a cap and then pour it, apply all over the face and you know, It consumes time and attention. Therefore, the idea of spraying is much easier. After bath, just wipe out your face and spray it into the face. Easy! Seriously, to those who know me well, you guys know, I'm a lazy bum. Just wanna share my simple daily skin care routine : remove makeup by using makeup remover, cleanse the face, spray some toner, serum and that's it! Moisturiser , I use it seldomly, I have no idea why I always skip moisturiser & night cream. I know, it's not good, but if my skin peel off, I will apply moisturiser, a lot! Seriously! hahaha (cuak muka kedut kering).

Benefit Rockateur review and swatches

ROCKATEUR!

Lets ROCK with this AWESOME Blusher! 

"It is new in Malaysia, just arrived at end of September 2013 "

One of pretty powder blushers from Benefit. At first I don't feel like buying this powder box since people says that the color is "rose gold" and as I saw in the pan, there's a lot of shimmer which is not my preference of blusher. I don't like shimmery blusher. However, after I read all the reviews and swatches from other youtubers and bloggers, I have made up my mind to give a try on this blusher.

By the time the blusher reached Malaysia, I straightly grabbed this without any second thoughts. I never own any Benefit powder box before except the GoTropicoral kit that contains Coralista. The Coralista blush gave me a great impression and I believe this one will not let me down.  

After own it, it never fails to amaze me. The texture or pattern on this pan is absolutely an A! The rock texture is a gorgeous design and suit with the name. The packaging itself is truly pretty and sophisticated with lace design at the sides. The color of the product is totally into earth color, warm pinky peachy brown with shimmery effects that gives natural pretty glow when wearing it. 

There is a brush included in the Benefit powder box. 

The real color on pan. This is what people dying for, The color is absoultely gorgeous and  buildable.
What you see in pan is what you get in person. The color is quite sheer and buildable, really pretty and not too glittery. The shimmer is enough to create pretty glow on cheeks. 

Here are the swatches.

From Left: color with shimmer, the color alone without shimmer/matte and last is the combination of both.

Well, actually we can't see obvious difference there. But roughly, you know the color, it's kinda of warm rosy pink

Short & Sweet

• The color is described  as "rose gold".
• Rose gold: Mix with rosy pink, beige, brown and slightly into warm undertones. This blusher gives satin shimmer finish and natural blush color for all complexion. 
• When I wear this blusher, it gives natural glow, peachy pink warm undertone color and it gives very subtle finish. 
• Longevity : In air-conditional room, the blusher can lasts up to 6 to 7 hours. In humid Malaysia weather can lasts up to 4 hours on face. (Vary to skin types).

Birthday Presents from Sephora and MAC haul!

Well, yesterday was my birthday and I just got my Sephora birthday email around 3pm in the afternoon. I'm really excited to get my birthday present from Sephora all the time, since I became their member and guess what? This time they give me an awesome posemm threat! 

Just refer to the pictures below and you would know the reason why I turned into a monkey yesterday!

Two presents at one time! They're so generous! I really can't wait to redeem the Sephora Mini Makeup Palette! <3 

Oh ya, a short story on my birthday diary...Yesterday I was at Bukit Bintang area but I didn't go to Sephora since I was walking for hours at Lowyat wearing high heels and unable to walk further than that area anymore. Seriously, even my earlier plan to go to MAC cosmetic at Pavillion store was changed to Isetan storedue to my feet pain. Anyway, thank you for all wishes friends and also surprises. <3 Really appreciate it. The most wonderful moment in my life.

Here a picture of me taken spontaneously / candid while the beauty consultant helps me to apply lipstick on my lips. The colour applied was Candy yum yum. The colour doesn't suit me eventhough its really pretty.

My February Beauty Favourites 2013 Edition

Assalamualaikum and Hi All!

It's time for my favourite makeup stuffs! haha. Oh yaaaaaa! I'm so excited with this! haha. I'm not showing off but just want to share items that I used a lot on this month.  

Yeah, here we are, revised back all products that I loved the most in this month.

FACE

Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation

This foundation is very light and spread very well on my face. Plus, the liquid is very watery and blend-able.  I love to use this foundation because it gives me light to medium coverage. More to medium plus can last for about 6 to 8 hours. It depends on your weather, temperature (indoor or outdoor) and place.

Besides that, the other reason I like about this product because it can cover up my dull face and makes my face looks dewy and glowy. ^_^

But remember, this foundation doesn't cover much on scars, pimples and so on. Only can cover up to medium coverage not full coverage.

Enough for me cause my face doesn't have any big scars or pimples for the moment. Need to apply concealer if you want more coverage.

Best way to apply: Using wet sponge and apply "dab dab" method. What do we call that method ya? I can't recall any word to replace it. haha.

M.A.C Blush Marilyn Monroe Edition in "Legendary"

Summarize as L. O. V. E

Natural pink-peachy color on cheeks make me in love with it~ 

Comfortable to wear it, daily basis color, long-lasting and its like my eternity choice blush color. Once you comfortable with something, you will go for it all the time.

My Easy-Going-Blush-Colour.

NARS Blush in "Taj Mahal"

This blush is really pigmented and need confident to apply it. Plus the color is dramatic, very orange-y and need to control the amount of product applied on cheeks or else we might end up look like a clown.

But the only reason I like this blush because it is really a long lasting blusher! Last time during working time(part time job), I applied it at 8am and when I went to toilet at 6pm, I noticed that this blush color was remain there and my cheeks look fresh almost similar to the morning-time color.. Absolutely amazing!!! hahah. (I applied it in light pressure and the color only faded a bit) I was amazed! No need to touch up!

Best way to apply: By using Stippling Brush cause this brush only pick less/not much product and gives light pressure on skin.

EYES

Silkygirl Big Eye Mascara

MY ONLY DAILY MASCARA

Sometimes I use other mascaras for trying purpose/ just want to change my mood. BUT most of the time, this is my number one mascara. FYI, this is my second tube.

The brush is very hard and not that quality but the formula is totally genius/awesome/ syok abis la!

I'm a person that lazy to remove eye make up using remover and this is definitely my best friend!

It is super easy to remove with warm water and will not leave any smudge-y effects under your eyes on the next day! NO MORE PANDA EYES!

MUA Brow Kit

Has 3 different tone to choose; blonde, light brown and darkbrown including a slot of wax in there plus additional brow tools; tweezers and brow applicator. 

Easy to blend, pigmented, and great choice of colors. Mix and match according to your style!

Essence Cream Eyeshadow, limited edition in Circus Circus. 

Color:  Number 2, Raise the curtain for...

Easy to apply, but not that creamy. I believe Maybelline color tatoo is creamier (I don't have any from Maybelline color tatoo collection so I can't say much but I did swatch and tried them during Singapore trip). I guess I need to have one so that I can compare these two products. 

Overall, I really like it cause the color is pretty, can last up to 6 hours, easy to apply especially on lazy day. Also can be eyeshadow base color and for me, the color is almost similar to Urban Decay Naked 2 eyeshadow in Pistol color but not 100% the same. Almost similar which is 70% -same- color. The only different is, this color has a bit of gold undertoned . Will do a review on this.

LIPS

NYX Soft matte Lipcream in Istanbul

MasyaAllah! This is my favourite matte cream eveeer!!

It looks smooth on my ugly dry cracked lips and I can't describe the smell. Pleasant smell and reminds me of cakes. haha. I have no idea why! The color is absolutely gorg on me.haha (I mentioned "only on me", so that You couldn't blame me if the color doesn't suit you, better you go to Sephora and try it before purchase because different color look amazing on different people). 

I like this color so much. Planning to get San Paulo and Milan.

Etude House Bee Happy Lipbalm in Peach

 Moisturing. Cute packaging. love the peachy smell. 

It repairs my cracked dry lips. I don't know whether this lipbalm gonna be work on you cause it works on me. haha. 

p/s: I got a bad habit. I put my lips into the pot instead of using finger. No one else going to use this, so.. sorry, Its mine. haha.

It just me. I know it sound gross and disgusting but  I need more product  instead of using finger which is only pick up a bit of balm and I feel not satisfied enough.
